Welcome to the Internet Resource Directory 1999-2000
Edition Page. The Internet Resource
Directory for K-12 Teachers and Librarians is an annual publication
that offers access to current, accurate, and useful information about
the Internet. Designed specifically for educators, it organizes material
by curriculum areas. It is your guide to the best resources available
for educators on the Internet. The 1999/2000 edition features 1,497
Internet resources. To stay current, the book is updated
periodically on this Web site.
The directory is divided into 11 chapters, each addressing a different
area of the K-12 curriculum. Two chapters, Resources for Educators and
The School Library, contain professional information as well as lesson
plans and general information specific to education, K-12 schools, and
the school library media center. The References chapter focuses on resources
that can be used across the curriculum.
Elizabeth welcomes your feedback on resources in the book (problems
or praise) and suggestions for resources to include in future editions.
