JEANNETTE WOODWARD is a librarian and principal of the Wind River Library and Nonprofit Consulting Group. After a career in academic libraries, most recently serving as Assistant Director of the David Adamany Library at Wayne State University, she began a second career in public libraries as Director of the Vista Grande Public Library in New Mexico and the Fremont County Library System in the foothills of the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming.
Woodward is the author of several books including Creating the Customer Driven Library: Building on the Bookstore Model (2005). Another book for librarians, Countdown to a New Library: Managing the Building Project (2000) was intended "to bring librarians who will be participants in new construction or renovation projects up to the mark so they can competently play their part in this process from beginning to end." (Journal of Academic Librarianship).
